Hi, I’m Dr. Ethan Marler, a Chiropractor with a passion for helping people move more confidently and live pain‐free. In the clinic, I will work with you to deliver personalized, evidence‐based care – combining manual therapies, thoughtful at home progressions, and practical education – to address root causes and build long‐term resilience.
I believe treatment plans should be evidence‐based and personalized, where your goals lead us; the research guides us; and we look beyond the symptoms to address the patterns driving the pain or performance limits.
Treatment plans should match what you want most – whether that’s finishing a 10K, returning from an injury, or simply moving without pain. You should walk out of each appointment feeling in control of your progress, with a clear understanding of what is going on and the next steps in our actionable strategy.
While I grew up going to a chiropractor for my athletic injuries, the first time I really considered becoming one myself was in my high school Sports Medicine class, sparking a fascination with human movement and anatomy. That led to my undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta, where I earned early acceptance into the University of Western States (UWS) Chiropractic program in Portland, Oregon. At UWS, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and got my Doctor of Chiropractic (DC).
Born and raised in Sherwood Park, I grew up playing hockey, basketball, track & field, and cross‐country, but playing soccer was my real passion and I played competitively until leaving for school in Portland.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me and Macie (my Golden) on the field, weight training, running, playing video games, or anxiously watching the Edmonton Oilers.

Hi there!
I am a father to two wonderful boys, a husband to my lovely wife, and when I’m working I am a chiropractic orthopaedic specialist!
I have worked across Canada in Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta. After several years of moving from place to place, my family and I are proud and happy to call Edmonton home for good!
After working as a chiropractor for several years, I decided to expand my skill set and knowledge by pursuing a fellowship in orthopaedics.
After several additional years of schooling later, I am now a Chiropractic Orthopaedic Specialist, Diplomate of the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, and Board Member of the College of Chiropractic Orthopaedic Specialists (Canada).
I enjoy helping, and finding solutions for those with complicated aches, pains and injuries. People who were not able to find answers or solutions elsewhere.
If you feel you need a specialists opinion or help, or you are in need of a solid chiropractic treatment I would love to help you!
